Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3 Tbsp. uncooked rice
  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • ground pepper
  • 12 large cabbage leaves
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 pkg. Sweet-one
  • 4 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients and divide into 12 equal parts. Drop cabbage leaves in boiling water until pliable.

    Drain and dry on paper towels. Wrap meat mixture in cabbage leaves and secure with toothpicks.

    Combine sauce, vinegar, salt and Sweet-one.

    Pour over cabbage rolls.

    Bake covered at 325° for 3 hours.

    Baste occasionally during baking.
