- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Mix all the ingredients together.

2Separate large cabbage leaves and wilt with boiling water.

3Spread 2 tablespoons of meat mixture on each leaf.

4Roll up, tucking in sides of leaf and pin with toothpicks.

5Place in large pot with one cup of water.

6Pour the following over cabbage rolls: 1 can tomatoes (large) and 1 can of tomato sauce.

7Cook slowly, about an hour.
