- 1 small head cabbage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- salt & pepper (to taste)
- 2 lbs extra lean ground beef (precook and drain higher fat content beef)
- 28 ounces tomato sauce
Directions

1Crumble uncooked lean ground beef in crock pot.

2Mix in onion, garlic, salt and pepper.

3Remove core from cabbage and cut into wedges.

4Arrange cabbage over meat mixture.

5Pour tomato sauce over cabbage.

6Cook on low for 8-10 hours

7Note: may be converted to 2-3 hour stovetop method in dutch oven but recommend precooking ground beef with onion and garlic.
