  • 2 medium heads cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 green pepper, diced
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1 small jar pimentos, diced
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 c. salad oil
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar

Directions

    Heat to boiling and pour over cabbage.

    Refrigerate 12 hours. Improves with age.

    Slaw will keep at least one week.
