- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 4 to 5 stalks celery, diced
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- clove of fresh garlic
- 1/2 to 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, diced
- 2 bouillon cubes
- 2 c. water
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 head cabbage (or as much as pan will hold)
- salt
Directions

1Brown first four ingredients in large, heavy Dutch oven. Drain grease and add remaining ingredients, except cabbage. Bring to a boil.

2Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours, adding cabbage last 1/2 hour of cooking time.
