  • 8 scoops Carte D'or Lavazza Ice Cream 200g/400ml
  • 1 madeira cake 320g
  • 6 3/4 tablespoons coffee cold strong
  • 1 11/16 tablespoons coffee liqueur Tia Maria(R)
  • 6 2/3 tablespoons chocolate shavings
  • cocoa powder A dusting of

Directions

    Cut 8 slices of Madeira cake approximately 2cm thick.

    Punch 4 circles approximately 6cm in diameter and 4 circles approximately 4cms in diameter from the cake slices using a fluted cutter.

    Mix the coffee and Tia Maria(R) in a small bowl.

    Dip the 4 larger cake discs quickly into the coffee mix. Lay each circle onto 4 serving plates.

    Scoop 4 balls of Carte D'Or Lavazza Ice Cream and place 1 on top of each sponge circle.

    Dip the remaining 4 sponge circles quickly into the coffee mix, place on top of the ice cream balls.

    Decorate with chocolate shavings and dust with cocoa powder.

    Serve with a second scoop of Carte D'Or Lavazza Ice Cream.
