- 6 to 8 slices bacon
- 6 green onions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 2 (14 oz.) cans tomatoes
- 1 head cabbage
Directions

1Brown, drain and crumble the bacon. Saute the onions in bacon fat.

2Add vinegar, salt and pepper. Coarsely chop the cabbage and add to skillet. Add drained, chopped tomatoes.

3Cover and simmer 35 minutes. Add bacon. Simmer 10 more minutes.
