  • 1 chicken, cut up
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 (16 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp. thyme
  • 1 to 2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Spray a large skillet with Pam.

    Heat over medium-high heat. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.

    Starting with skin down, brown chicken for about 15 minutes, turning once.

    Add chopped onion and green pepper and cook for 2 more minutes.

    Stir in tomato sauce, thyme, Tabasco, salt and pepper.

    Heat to boil, spooning sauce over chicken.

    Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
