- 1 c. cubed ham
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 large tomato, diced
- salt to taste
- cayenne pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook grits as per package, then an additional 10 minutes cooking time.

2Spray frypan with cooking oil.

3Add onion, ham and green pepper.

4Saute lightly (approximately 5 minutes).

5Add cheese and allow to melt.

6Mix. Add cayenne pepper and mix.

7Stir in diced tomatoes.

8Blend sauteed ingredients with cooked grits and serve. Serves 4 to 6.
