  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 5 Tbsp. flour

Directions

    In a mixing bowl, blend sugar, Crisco, vanilla, and butter. Mix well until sugar is dissolved.

    In a medium saucepan, mix milk and flour and cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.

    Remove sauce pan from heat and allow mixture to cool. When cool, blend milk and flour mixture with sugar mixture.

    Whip at high speed for 8 to 10 minutes.

    Icing will keep up to 3 weeks in the freezer.
