  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • salt (1/2 or 1 tsp. or omit)

    Combine cake mix and 2 cups hot water.

    In another bowl, combine 1/2 cup warm water, sugar and yeast.

    Mix the two mixtures with 4 1/2 cup flour and salt.

    Knead.

    Put in greased bowl to rise.

    Make rolls, tea rings, cinnamon rolls, etc.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
