  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • oil, for frying
  • powdered sugar, for dusting

    drizzle milk over the rice and mash until almost smooth.
