  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 12 c. popped corn

Directions

    Slowly bring the margarine, sugar, syrup and salt to a boil. Continue

    for 10 minutes. Add baking soda and then quickly pour over the popcorn.

    Stir to coat evenly.

    Put 14-inch Dutch oven over low heat fire for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
