  • 1 can sour cherries, drained (keep the liquid from cherries)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 pkg. Betty Crocker lemon cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. cherry juice (add water if needed)
  • 1/4 c. condensed milk
  • vanilla ice cream

    In heavy cast-iron skillet, melt margarine.

    Pour cherries into skillet.

    Sprinkle sugar over cherries.

    Shake pan to coat cherries.
