- 2 cups shelled walnuts (or any combo of nuts!)
- 1 12 cups shelled pecans
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine
Directions

1Melt butter in 325F oven on a jelly roll pan (or cookie sheet with rims).

2Beat egg whites until stiff.

3Add and beat in salt, then add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.

4Add vanilla until just blended.

5Fold in nuts and coat them well.

6Spread nuts over melted butter.

7Bake about 30-50 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

8Make sure they don't stick to the pan, they will burn!

9The nuts are done when they are coated golden brown and no butter remains.
