Ingredients

  • 1 cup (225 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
  • 2 cups (475 ml) raw peanuts (or other kind of nut)

Directions

    Combine sugar and water in a saucepan.

    Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

    Add peanuts and cook stirring constantly over medium heat until all the liquid evaporates (15 minutes).

    Spread nuts on greased baking sheet.

    Bake at 300 degrees (150 C.) for 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes.

    Remove from over and cool.
