  • 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (if desired)

    Mix together.

    Spray a 10 x 14-inch pan with Pam.

    Pour into pan and bake at 350° for approximately 17 minutes.

    Cool and cut. Very chewy.
