- 50 light caramels (Kraft)
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 6 oz. chocolate chips
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine in heavy saucepan caramels and evaporated milk.

3Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until caramels are melted.

4Keep warm.

5Combine in large bowl all remaining ingredients except chocolate chips.

6Stir with fork until crumbly but hold together. Press 1/2 dough in cake pan.

7Save rest for topping.

8Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

9Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked crust.

10Spread caramel mixture over all.

11Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Press lightly.

12Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
