- 2 c. chopped apples
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. apple juice
- 1/3 c. raisins
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 4 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. walnuts
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Combine the apples, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and butter in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes,

2stirring frequently.

3Add the apple juice, raisins, vanilla, evaporated milk, eggs, brown sugar and bread cubes, mixing well.

4Pour into an 8-inch square baking dish.

5Process the walnuts with the remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and sugar in a blender.

6Sprinkle over the pudding.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Yields 8 servings.
