- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramel candy
- 1 (18 oz.) German chocolate cake mix
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. melted margarine
- 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Directions

1Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.

2Combine cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and melted margarine.

3Spread 1/2 of dough in a 13 x 9-inch pan.

4Bake for 6 minutes at 350°.

5Sprinkle chocolate morsels and nuts on top.

6Spread caramel mixture over. Place blots of remaining dough on top and spread.

7Return to oven; bake for 18 minutes.

8Cut and chill 30 minutes before cutting.
