  • 2 lb. brown sugar
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. Milnot
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix brown and white sugars and Milnot until moistened.

    Add vinegar and cook until soft ball in water test.

    Add butter and vanilla.

    Beat with mixer until thickened.

    Put in greased 9 x 3 x 11-inch pan.

    Cool.

    Yields 2 1/2 to 3 pounds.
