- 1 1/3 to 1 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
- 3 c. whipping cream
Directions

1Mix together and boil sugar, Karo and 1 cup of whipping cream to 236° on candy thermometer.

2Add 1 cup cream; boil to 236° again.

3Add final cup of cream and boil to 240°.

4Remove from heat.

5Add 2 teaspoons vanilla and 2 cups chopped pecans (optional).
