- 1 c. sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Melt sugar and butter over low heat until caramelized to a golden brown.

2Add salt and milk; stir constantly until a hard ball can be formed in water.

3Add nuts and vanilla.

4Beat until cool.

5Pour into pan and let stand in refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cutting.

6Yields about 20 (1-inch) squares.
