- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 8 qt. popped popcorn
Directions

1Mix brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup, water and salt.

2Bring to a steady boil.

3Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in baking soda.

6Stir until thoroughly mixed. (Syrup will be foamy.)

7Pour over popped popcorn.

8Mix gently. Bake for 1 hour at 225°, stirring every 15 minutes.

9Pour mix onto wax paper or on clean large tea towel separating corn gently. Cool.
