  • 6 qt. popped popcorn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1 c. (2 sticks) oleo or butter
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Mix brown sugar, Karo syrup and oleo or butter together.

    Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Take baking soda and add to syrup mixture.

    Mix well.

    Pour over popcorn.

    Bake for 1 hour at 250°, stirring a few times.
