- 4 to 5 qt. popped corn (depending on how much syrup you like)
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Mix brown sugar, margarine, salt and corn syrup; boil over moderate heat for 5 minutes.

2Remove from heat and add baking soda and stir.

3Pour over popped popcorn in a large roaster.

4Place in the oven at 250° for 1 hour.

5Stir every 20 minutes.

6Remove and cool.
