- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 5 qt. popped corn
- 1 can salted peanuts (if you're feeling rich)
Directions

1Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt.

2Bring to a boil quickly and boil for 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat and add soda; stir well.

4Pour over popcorn in a large roasting pan and stir well.

5Stir in peanuts, if desired.

6Bake at 250° for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes during baking.
