  • 2 qt. popped corn
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp. molasses
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • peanuts (optional)

Directions

    Place popped corn in roaster pan.

    Combine sugar, butter, syrup, salt and molasses in medium saucepan.

    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
