  • 5 qt. popped popcorn
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Bring oleo, sugar and syrup to hard boil stage (260°).

    Boil for 5 minutes and then add soda. Mix well. Pour over popcorn and mix. Bake at 250° for 1/2 to 1 hour, checking every 15 minutes.
