- 4 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. light or dark corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Put popcorn in plastic or glass bowl.

2Stir together syrup, sugar, butter and salt and cook at medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.

3Cook without stirring for five minutes.

4Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn; stir to coat well.

5Pour into greased cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes at 250°.

6(Stir with a spoon after 10 minutes.)

7Break apart when cool.
