- 1 c. popcorn
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white Karo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Pop the corn and put in large pan that will go into oven. Cook butter, brown sugar and Karo to soft ball stage.

2Remove from heat and add vanilla, salt, soda and cream of tartar.

3Pour this over popped corn.

4Stir to coat and place in 250° oven 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.

5Take out of oven and let cool.

6Break apart.
