  • 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • pinch cream of tartar
  • dash of salt
  • 8 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Mix sugar, syrup and butter in saucepan.

    Boil and cook approximately 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Add soda, cream of tartar and salt.

    Pour in all at once.

    Stir immediately over popcorn.

    Bake in 200° oven for 1 hour, stirring frequently. Makes about 20 servings.
