Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • approximately 2 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Mix sugar, syrup and water together in heavy saucepan.

    Cook over medium heat to 250° on candy thermometer.

    Add butter, vanilla and soda and stir briskly.

    Pour over popped corn. Squeeze together while warm into balls.
