  • 1/2 c. popcorn
  • 1/4 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. baking soda

Directions

    Pop 1/2 cup popcorn and pour into large bowl.

    In a medium saucepan, melt 1 stick butter.

    Add Karo syrup and brown sugar. Cook on medium-high heat.

    Bring mixture to boil.

    Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Add 1 tablespoon baking soda.

    Mix and pour over popcorn; mix quickly.

    Cool and break apart.
