  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1/2 c. pancake syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

    Bring to a boil.

    Remove from heat.

    Add 1 teaspoon soda.

    Add 7 to 8 cups popped popcorn.

    Stir popcorn to coat.

    Pour on buttered cookie sheet.

    Bake at 250° for 1/2 hour, stirring once. When cool, store in airtight container, or in a plastic bag.
