- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. corn syrup (light)
- 1 pinch cream of tartar
- 5 to 6 qt. popped corn
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Mix sugar, margarine and tartar.

2Boil for 5 minutes in a large saucepan.

3Add soda and stir until foaming.

4Pour over popcorn, mixing quickly.

5Bake at 200° for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

6Spread on waxed paper to cool.

7Store in airtight container.
