- 8 or 9 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. white syrup
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Boil all ingredients except popcorn and baking soda for 5 minutes and remove from heat.

2Stir in soda very quickly.

3Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and stir.

4Put it in a roaster pan or other large pan in a 250° oven for one hour, stirring occasionally.

5After it has cooled, store in a tight container.
