  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 6 qt. popcorn

Directions

    Pop the popcorn, then melt butter; stir in sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.

    Boil 15 minutes without stirring. Stir in soda and pour over popcorn. Bake 1 hour at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes.
