- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. corn syrup (light)
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 200°.

2Combine the ingredients in saucepan. Boil rapidly on medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 260°.

3Remove from heat.

4Stir in 1 teaspoon baking soda; immediately pour over 6 quarts of popped corn.

5Coat corn.

6Pour in buttered pan.

7Bake for 1 hour; stir 3 or 4 times to break corn apart.

8Remove from oven.

9Cool completely and store in tightly covered container.

10(If sticky, put in oven for a little while until crisp.)
