- 3 pots popped corn
- 2 sticks oleo
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- nuts (optional)
Directions

1Put corn in large pan.

2Boil sugar, oleo, syrup, salt and vanilla together for 5 minutes; add soda.

3Stir quickly; pour over popcorn and stir to coat.

4Put on 2 large cookie sheets and bake in a 250° oven for 35 minutes.

5Stir often while baking.

6You may add peanuts, pecans or walnuts, if you like.

7Preheat nuts in oven while popping corn and cooking syrup, especially if you are keeping nuts in the freezer.
