  • 8 qt. popped corn
  • 3 c. brown sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 3/4 c. white syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. butter or vanilla flavoring
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. peanuts (optional)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except peanuts, corn and soda.

    Bring to a boil; boil 2 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Add soda.

    Pour over corn and peanuts; stir well.

    Bake in 250° oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.

    After cooled, store in airtight container. Keeps well.
