- 6 qt. popped popcorn
- 1 pkg. peanuts
- 2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. oleo
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring (optional)
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Put the 6 quarts of popped popcorn in a large roaster.

2Stir in peanuts, if desired.

3Boil for 5 minutes: packed brown sugar, oleo, salt, corn syrup and optional maple flavoring.

4Remove from heat.

5Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to mixture.

6This will make it foamy.

7Pour over popped corn and mix well.

8Bake at 275° for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

9Do not let it get too brown. Dump on waxed or brown paper to cool.
