- 1/2 lb. Kraft caramels (about 28)
- dash of salt
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. milk
- 1 envelope gelatin
- 1 c. heavy cream, whipped
- pie crust
Directions

1Melt caramels in milk in double boiler, stirring constantly. Add salt to gelatin and soften in cold water.

2Add to caramels. Stir to dissolve.

3Chill until quite thick.

4Fold in whipped cream and nuts.

5Pour into a prepared pie crust of your choice. Refrigerate until firm.
