- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. milk
- 3 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In medium saucepan, melt margarine.

2Add brown sugar.

3Cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

4Add the milk. Continue cooking until mixture comes to a rolling boil.

5Remove from heat.

6Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla.

7Mix well. If needed, add a few drops of milk for desired spreading consistency.
