- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
- 1 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. milk
- 3 c. sifted 10x sugar (confectioners sugar)
Directions

1Melt butter in medium-size saucepan.

2Stir in brown sugar and salt.

3Bring to boiling.

4Cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes (mixture may steam).

5Remove from heat.

6Carefully stir in milk. Return to heat.

7Bring to a full rolling boil.

8Remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm.

9Stir in 10x sugar.

10Beat until smooth and spreadable.
