- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. milk
Directions

1Put all ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan.

2Cook over very low heat, stirring constantly and bring to boil, with bubbling surface. Boil 2 minutes.

3Cool until hand can be comfortably held on bottom of pan.

4Stir in 2 cups powdered sugar (one at a time).

5Add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla, and beat until smooth and creamy.

6Pour over cake.
