  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 c. cream
  • 1 egg white

Directions

    Combine sugars, soda and cream.

    Cook stirring constantly, to 238° or until a small amount forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.

    Cool to lukewarm without stirring.

    Beat until creamy, add unbeaten egg white and beat until thick enough to spread.
  5. 5
    Will frost 3 (8-inch) layers.
