Caramel Icing

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 small can evaporated milk

Directions

    Brown 1/2 cup sugar in iron skillet.

    While this is browning, add all other ingredients in a thick cooker and bring to a boil. Mix browned sugar and let it all cook together 2 minutes.

    Remove from heat and beat until ready to put on cake.

    (Good on yellow or spice cake.)

    I add black walnuts to my icing.
