  • 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 lb. confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Add brown sugar and milk and heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

    Boil gently 5 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.

    Blend in confectioners sugar, beating until smooth.
