- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 2 sticks margarine
Directions

1In an iron fry pan cook 1/4 cup sugar over medium heat until brown.

2While browning the sugar, bring to a boil the milk and the remaining sugar.

3Cook until it forms a hard ball.

4Add margarine and the browned sugar.

5Beat until you are ready to spread on cake.

6(I usually beat until it is creamy.)

7After frosting cake, you can add drained, crushed pineapple to the top.

8Then dribble a small amount of caramel over the pineapple.
